A core concern of the SSMO is the best possible care and treatment of tumour patients in hospital and in practice. In this context, it is important to support the treating physicians in their daily clinical routine and to increase quality within the framework of a continuous improvement process.
The SSMO supports the development of a quality culture and is committed to anchoring quality issues in the education, continuing education and further training of doctors. In addition, the SSMO is involved in various quality committees and supports the networking of the quality activities of the various specialist societies.
