SSMO membership has many advantages
The SSMO
- represents the interests of medical oncologists towards health policy-makers, health insurers, other service providers and other stakeholders
- defines adequate framework conditions for postgraduate and continuous education in medical oncology
- supports its members in their everyday clinical and practice work with useful services
- brings together young and established medical oncologists, regardless of their place of work (hospital, clinic, practice)

- You will receive your continuous training diploma free of charge (CHF 150 for non-members)

- You will receive the members’ newsletter with information on education courses, congresses, important initiatives and much more.
Joint membership of SSMO and ESMO
The European Society for Medical Oncology (ESMO) has an agreement with the SSMO for mutual privileged recognition of their memberships. SSMO members now enjoy the following benefits at ESMO, among others:
- Reduced full membership fee for ESMO (€130 instead of €175 per year)
- Simplified application procedure for ESMO membership
