  • ensures optimal treatment and care for tumour patients, together with other specialist societies and professional organisations
  • defines quality standards for the treatment and care of tumour patients, together with other specialist societies and professional organisations
  • is responsible for postgraduate and continuous education
  • represents the interests of all medical oncologists, regardless of the care structure (hospital and practice; young and old)
  • Cancer patients should have rapid and equal access to scientifically proven, effective/innovative treatments
  • We want to create a health policy / regulatory framework that enables medical oncologists to provide their patients with effective and high-quality treatment and care
  • We want to be perceived as a competent, innovative and reliable point of contact for health policy or clinical issues related to cancer medicine
  • We are committed to a high level of care security in cancer treatment
  • We want to minimise the administrative burden on medical oncologists so that they have as much time as possible for their patients and research
  • We maintain a regular exchange with important stakeholders
